Project Description

In 2016 MacKay was awarded the Idlewild Lake Dam Upgrades project. This work was performed in an active and well-used park, requiring a great deal of communication and interaction with the public.

Project Highlights

Constructing new cast-in-place concrete spillway structure with low-level outlet
New .5km bypass piping system including intake and weir
Rip-rap embankment and stilling basin
Decommissioning existing spillway and bypass piping system
