Blakiston Creek Bank Protection
Project Description MacKay was the successful contractor to complete the Blakiston Creek Bank Protection project for Parks Canada. The work included: Repair damage from the 2013 Southern Alberta Flooding Clearing flood debris Realigning the river bank Supplying and place 1200m3 Class 2 Rip Rap Apply rip rap protection around bridge piers. The project involved in-stream work utilizing sanitized heavy equipment with biodegradable oils and was completed on schedule and under budget to the satisfaction of the client.
