





Project Description
MacKay was the successful contractor to complete the Blakiston Creek Bank Protection project for Parks Canada. The work included:
- Repair damage from the 2013 Southern Alberta Flooding
- Clearing flood debris
- Realigning the river bank
- Supplying and place 1200m3 Class 2 Rip Rap
- Apply rip rap protection around bridge piers.
The project involved in-stream work utilizing sanitized heavy equipment with biodegradable oils and was completed on schedule and under budget to the satisfaction of the client.
