Project Description
Canadian Pacific selected MacKay as the successful proponent for the grading and drainage construction of the Swansea Main Track Modifications Project.
The project consisted of construction of a new mainline track and creation of a siding from the old mainline.
The existing box culvert was deemed to be at the end of its service life. The new precast box culvert was installed under the new siding and mainline track. The works were completed in under 24 hours to keep rail traffic disruption to a minimum.
